Hey have you heard of this cool thing that burns everything? Not to brag, but we made it famous.

Yes, we found it— and it went exactly how you’d expect. This thing is truly a wonder: we can use it to cook, clean, warm, and light our way. Why has no other species tried to make more of it?

Turns out, there are some downsides. But while fire may have existed for 470 million years before apes came along, that hasn’t stopped us from lighting things up like it’s going out of style.

Just like many natural phenomena, it’s comforting when it’s small and terrifying when it’s big. While we hate being reminded of impermanence, fire shows us that life can very quickly go from rare to well done. Fire takes everything. But what burns to ash today sows potassium and sulphates into the soil for tomorrow’s plants. That’s just a fancy way of saying that fire feeds apes.

Ep.1/

“Discovering” FIre

We love to experiment, and Fire is our accomplice. We put everything in it: food, waste, even other apes. Every year, Apes burn an area half the size of the United States— but we don’t like to rest on our laurels.

Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does. It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference. Don’t worry about sounding professional. Sound like you. There are over 1.5 billion websites out there, but your story is what’s going to separate this one from the rest. If you read the words back and don’t hear your own voice in your head, that’s a good sign you still have more work to do.

Be clear, be confident and don’t overthink it. The beauty of your story is that it’s going to continue to evolve and your site can evolve with it. Your goal should be to make it feel right for right now. Later will take care of itself. It always does.
